Allow God to heal the boo-boos in your life.

This past week we were talking about how we treat our children when they fall down & get a boo-boo. As parents (or grandparents), we bring our children inside to us & sit them down to clean up their wounds. We lovingly wash and apply antiseptic to clean & sterilize the wounded part. (Cleaning it up mat “sting” just a little. But, we know it’s what’s best for them.)

After we lovingly dress our child’s boo-boo to protect it from further infection from the outside world; tell them to be more careful and send them back out.

Isn’t that how our loving FATHER deals with us when we have boo-boos in our life?

When we come crying to Him about our hurts & boo-boos of life, GOD will lovingly take us unto Himself and sit us down in a place of rest. Then, HE will lovingly clean & disinfect the wound we have received from a stumble or fall. (Sure, it may sting a little going through the clean-up & disinfectant period. But, our FATHER knows what’s best.)

God will dress our wounds with a bandage of LOVE, tell us to be more careful and send us on our way.  Our Father loves us so much more than we can ever imagine or think.  HE is truly an AWESOME God!

Welcome to the new Providential Pathways!

Allow us to edify, exhort & encourage you in the name of our Lord & Savior Jesus the Christ. We invite you to explore God’s goodness as we walk the providential pathways of life together. We pray that you will be blessed by our ministry.

Our Mission:

The primary mission of Providential Pathways consists of edifying, encouraging, and leading church leadership and members to a higher level of faith and a closer walk with Jesus Christ!

This is done through Biblical teaching and counseling while under the anointing the Holy Spirit. Enlightenment and edification is accomplished through deeper contemplation and focus of the Holy Word of God.

Study outlines and reference materials are given to each person in attendance to help their understanding and extensive time is made available for prayer, laying on of hands, and apostolic imparting of the presence of God to touch each individuals life.

Why this ministry?

Almost two decades ago before illness almost ended my life, God birthed in me the idea of a ministry. The primary call of this ministry is to exalt the name of Jesus and encourage ministry leaders & lay people alike to seek a deeper relationship with God; while providing tools, materials and encouragement to all that God would direct in our path through HIS Divine Providence.

Thus, “Providential Pathways” was birthed into existence by the breath & direction of the Holy Spirit.

Scripture Text:

John 4:23

…yet a time is coming and has now come

Phil 4:6-7

Do not be anxious for anything, but in everything

Rm 8:34

Christ Jesus who died – more than that.

Rev 1:17-18

Do not be afraid… I am active… And I hold the keys

Eph 1:18-20

I pray also that the eyes of your may be enlightened…that you may know the hope to which HE        has called you, the riches of HIS glorious inheritance …and HIS incomparably great power for us who believe. That power is like the working of HIS mighty strength …when HE raised HIM from the dead.

Rm 8:17

Now if we are children, then we are heirs-heirs of GOD and co-heirs of CHRIST, if indeed we share in HIS suffering in order that we may also share in HIS glory.

James 4:7-8-10

Submit yourselves then to GOD.  Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  Come near to GOD, and HE will come near to you…Humble yourselves before the LORD, and HE will lift you up.

Praise and Worship of GOD is what we should go to Church to do.  Worship should be a celebration of the living, resurrected, reigning LORD.  If we go to GOD in the spirit of praise and thanksgiving then we will receive grace and revitalization to accomplish the task GOD has called us to undertake. Praise brings HIS inhabitation!

Worship should not be done in a solemn, gloomy spirit, remembering the suffering and death of JESUS.  When we worship, we must remember HE is sovereignty.  Failure to allow the Holy Spirit to break us will make it impossible to receive the blessed promises of GOD.  We must not lose sight of the fact CHRIST has conquered death, hell, and the grave for us.  He now reigns supreme, sitting at the FATHER’S right hand interceding on our behalf.

We should remember HIS suffering and death that rightfully we deserve but, we should not worship them.  We should praise and worship a living, reigning LORD who holds the keys to death, hell, and the grave.  Without the holiness and sovereign power of our LORD and SAVIOUR JESUS, the CHRIST, we would all be suffering an eternal death, hell, and the grave.

When we remember he has defeated death, hell, and the grave and now reigns victorious over Satan, it becomes easier to understand the sovereign power JESUS has to give to us for HIS good purpose.  This same power  is ours if we praise, worship, and believe in HIM; the living, reigning, KING of kings and LORD of lords.  We cannot understand this power when we only remember HIS suffering and death on the cross.  We must also remember HIS resurrection and victory over Satan if we wish to live in victory with JESUS.

JESUS now reigns supreme and HE has given all those that believe and trust in HIM the opportunity to live victoriously as joint heirs with HIM   if we come    humbly   submitting   ourselves over completely to HIM.

When we truly worship, God begins to break the outer man.  This brokeness must take place- for we cannot grow in the Holy Spirit unless our inner spirit is broken.

A Conversation with God (Author Unknown)

A Conversation with God

Me: God, can I ask You a question?

God: Sure

Me: Promise You won’t get mad

God: I promise

Me: Why did You let so much stuff happen to me today?

God: What do you mean?

Me: Well, I woke up late

God: Yes

Me: My car took forever to start

God: Okay

Me: at lunch they made my sandwich wrong & I had to wait

God: Huummm

Me: On the way home, my phone went DEAD, just as I picked up a call

God: All right

Me: And on top of it all off, when I got home ~I just want to soak my feet in my new foot massager & relax. BUT it wouldn’t work!!! Nothing went right today! Why did You do that?

God: Let me see, the death angel was at your bed this morning & I had to send one
of My Angels to battle him for your life. I let you sleep through that

Me (humbled): OH

GOD: I didn’t let your car start because there was a drunk driver on your route that would have hit you if you were on the road.

Me: (ashamed)

God: The first person who made your sandwich today was sick & I didn’t want you to catch what they have, I knew you couldn’t afford to miss work.

Me (embarrassed):Okay

God: Your phone went dead bcuz the person that was calling was going to give false witness about what you said on that call, I didn’t even let you talk to them so you would be covered.

Me (softly): I see God

God: Oh and that foot massager, it had a shortage that was going to throw out all of the power in your house tonight. I didn’t think you wanted to be in the dark.

Me: I’m Sorry God

God: Don’t be sorry, just learn to Trust Me…. in All things , the Good & the bad.

Me: I will trust You.

God: And don’t doubt that My plan for your day is Always Better than your plan.

Me: I won’t God. And let me just tell you God, Thank You for Everything today.

God: You’re welcome child. It was just another day being your God and I Love looking after My Children…

Help us serve JESUS.
